WHEN DO I NEED A PERMIT?
Remember: "CALL FIRST, THEN BUILD!"
The Building Inspection Department provides a variety of building services throughout the County to provide protection for the health, safety, and welfare of the general public in relation to the use and occupancy of structures by enforcement of adopted building codes and to protect the general public from abuse by unlicensed contractors by enforcement of state contractor licensing laws.
An approved inspection must be made every 180 days minimum (six months) or your permit will EXPIRE.
